Ghost Box Orchestra's songs—psychedelic western soundtracks infused with desert rock and surf reverb—speak in subtle whispers and fuzz-freaked panoramas full of stomping rhythms and hazy, shoegaze-y guitar slabs. The Only Light On, their first album released in July 2010, creates a place where music meets meditation and where spacey post-rock melts into psychedelia and fades into hazy instrumental daybreak.
