Brayton Dance, a Boston-based collaborative dance ensemble led by artistic director Adriane Brayton, blends music and movement to investigate the many facets of human relationships. Using raw sound as a cornerstone—live music, body percussion, vocals—the company enjoys performing in unconventional settings. Be it on staircases, on safes, or in saunas and backyards, Brayton Dance strives to be at the forefront of contemporary dance through its exploration of non-traditional vantage points. Performance credits include but are not limited to: ArtBeat, Dance for World Community, The Dance Complex, The Museum of Science Boston, Green Street Studios, Tufts University, and Boston Center for the Arts.
