Katherine Taylor, Masks of Boston/Who Do You Wear a Mask For?
A socially distanced outdoor portrait project aimed at capturing not only individuals' images but their emotional experiences as well throughout the pandemic, addressing the challenges, the unexpected positives or sources of strength and who people wear a mask for.
The project was born in my backyard in Somerville in April and since that time I have been able to collaborate with museums and other parties to widen the scope of the project.
